Good news, Bad news... It's still pretty good news.

The store I work for is going to be closing. The owner has made millions off the store and he's just tired of all the hastle and headache involved in it. It's a pretty shitty deal for some of the people that work there, but most people are ready to leave anyhow.

In the past 2 weeks, 2 people have quit, 2 more are quitting, the owner's daughter is quitting as well. The boss really treats people like shit for the most part. He's got his good days when he's not a totall asshole, but those are usually few and far between. He's really cheap, and that's also getting him sued. The girl that put in her notice right before I was hired, is suing him because some guy got paid more than she did for the same job. It's a discrimination thing. I can see where it may be a valid complaint, but knowing the guy the way I do, I think he just pays everbody the lowest amount he thinks they'll work for.

At any rate, I'm pleased about this for the most part. I hate the job with a passion mainy because it's backbreaking labor, for immigrant pay. I'm glad because I almost have enough cash for my new computer, and I can start looking elsewhere for a job.
